ABOUT THE SEMINAR

The seminar is related to Geotechnical Engineering. Sustainability is undoubtedly the biggest challenge facing engineering in the 21st century. Natural resources are fast depleting, traditional energy production methods are becoming too expensive. Geotechnical engineers need to demonstrate their capacity to make geotechnical practice sustainable and their ability to deliver developments which satisfy all three elements of sustainability: environmental conservation, social betterment and economic improvement. The seminar create a community of individuals who can drive innovations in the field of Geotechnical Engineering and meet the challenging requirements in the field analysis.

ABOUT INSTITUTE

he Department offers undergraduate course in civil engineering. The department has well equipped laboratories attached to different divisions for conducting teaching and research. The aim of department is to prepare graduates with knowledge and technical information refined with professional touch and to make them capable of undertaking civil engineering jobs to meet the challenges of 21st century. The department has highly qualified faculty members engaged in teaching and research with the aim of achieving excellence in various fields. The faculty members are specialized in different disciplines of civil engineering. The department also offers two PG programs, M. Tech in Structural Engineering and Construction Technology under full time category
