6. What is the status of RK University? How it is different?

RK University has been granted the status of Private- University by Government of Gujarat. RKU approved to grant degrees under section 22 by UGC.

8. Where is the campus situated?
|
|
The campus is situated on Rajkot-Bhavnagar Highway on the out-skirts of Rajkot City in Gujarat State.

The campus has separate boys and girls hostel, mess, canteen, sports ground, Transportation Facility etc.

10. How do I reach to campus?
|
|
The University has its own bus services. Apart from this private vehicle operators and GSRTC buses are available.

11. How are the security arrangements for students residing on campus?
|
|
Tight security arrangements are done on the campus. The hostels are exclusively managed by the University Management. 24x7 security guards are there on campus.

13. Is there a primary medical facility on-campus?
|
- Yes. Also, emergency transport with dedicated driver is available on campus 24X7. On campus physiotherapy centre is also available.
- Entire Campus is under CCTV surveillance.

14. What if I do not wish to stay on-campus?
|
|
Although we encourage residence on campus, students may reside outside the campus. Not applicable to full time residential programs.

15. Are parents / guardians allowed to visit and stay on campus?
|
|
The parents / guardian are allowed to visit campus on Sundays. On campus stay for parents / guardians is not permitted.

16. What are the college timings?
|
|
The college timings are from morning 8am to 3 pm. The students may require to stay back for projects, seminars, extended class, practical etc.
