Started in 2011, Electrical Department offers undergraduate course in Electrical engineering and Providing excellent facilities to carry out research work for Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) The department has well equipped laboratories attached to different divisions for conducting teaching and research. The department has highly qualified faculty members engaged in teaching and research with the aim of achieving excellence in various fields. The faculty members are specialized in different disciplines of Electrical engineering. The research interests of the faculty members encompass a wide gamut of sub-disciplines of Electrical Engineering.

The mission of the Department of Electrical Engineering is to offer an EE undergraduate program that augments the liberal education expected of all R.K.University undergraduates and imparts a basic understanding of electrical engineering built on a foundation of physical science, mathematics, computing, and technology.

To provide a basic knowledge of electrical engineering principles along with the required supporting knowledge of mathematics, science, computing, and engineering fundamentals. To arrange Technical workshop/Seminar/training programmes to upgrade students & faculties.

To develop the basic skills needed to perform and design experimental projects. Develop the ability to formulate problems and projects and to plan a process for solution taking advantage of diverse technical knowledge and skills.

Develop the ability to organize and present information and to write and speak effective General English & Technical communication.

Provide sufficient breadth and depth for successful subsequent post-graduate study, or lifelong learning programs. Department’s objective is to start PG course in Electrical Engineering in near future.

Provide an appreciation for the broad spectrum of issues arising in professional practice, including teamwork, leadership, safety, ethics, service, and economics. To strengthen Indupstry-Institute Interaction.
