An Academic Journey
It was July 2006 on one afternoon I entered the campus with Denishbhai Patel (EVP) and met Ranchhodbhai Mangroliya (VP) and Shivlalbhai Ramani (Registrar) I found them quite down to earth in their dealings. Not only this but during our first inspection by AICTE one of the Committee members, AICTE remarked, “This is the first institution where I have seen the trustee himself is an Engineer. I also observed Denishbhai as a man of creativity, enthusiasm, positive attitude, dynamic personality and the youngest among the trustees. In those days, RK College of Business Management and Physiotherapy were the only colleges on the campus but now the number of colleges has increased and includes School of Engineering, School of Pharmacy, School of Diploma Studies, School of Computer Science, etc. with staggering increase in students’ intake along with number of branches. |

| I have witnessed the ever growing graph of the progress of RK Group of Colleges since August 2006 when I joined the college as a lecturer, Dept. of Mathematics. This progress has ultimately changed the status of RK Group of Colleges to RK University and today RKU is considered to be one of the top most universities. I am one of those fortunate to work with RKU in its early years. |

| Awareness of one’s strength and weakness is the beginning of all success. RKU helps to bring out these traits during the students career. RKU has consistently taken equal interest in the development of its faculty members by providing them opportunities to attend National and International level seminars/workshops. As a part of it, I attended two memorable workshops organized at IIT, Mumbai in July 2008 and the other at Patna in 2009. |

| The Dynamism and the vibrant atmosphere of the campus take us towards the new horizons. The green pastures around and the power packed students of different streams make the university more beautiful. One of the key features of RKU is that it has allowed the students to make a living out of something they are passionate about. Students of Rajkot are blessed to have such a university well in their reach. I am proud to be a part of RKU where students of Engineering, Management, Pharmacy and Physiotherapy can successfully build their career on one single campus. Our students are provided with the opportunities to work with well-known companies through campus interviews, an excellent platform to bring out their versatility by exposure in events like Techno-planet, Galore and other such technical events. |

Since the selection of the employer is not only dependent on wage and benefits but it is the moral values of treating the employees as the contributors of overall success of the institute. At RKU one gets the same kind of experience. Good work gets appreciated and an employee gets the highest accolades for the same. There are so many reasons why RKU is considered as the best employer. In words it cannot be expressed.
