About Program
The BBA Program of RK University is hasa special focus on entrepreneurship. The idea is togive a broad knowledge of the functional areas of business administration, and their interconnections to develop a holistic view of same, while also allowing for specialization in particular areas, in a span of three years. BBA program of RK University thus exposes students to a variety of "core and inter-disciplinary subjects" from general business courses in its initial phase, and, later it allows students to specialize in specific academic area for further concentrations and specializations (as given in details of our Course-structure). Specialization areas to be offered, like Marketing, General Management, Finance, International Business, etc., are designed to meet the needs of employers around India today.Thereby, our BBA program develops students with a keen understanding of business administration, from a local, national and global context.
Our BBA program best suited for the students wanting to join their family business or wanting to start an entrepreneurial venture of their own after graduation. Towards this end the programme gives specific focus on projects for development of entrepreneurial abilities.

PROVEN RECORD OF VALUE CHAIN:
Most colleges offering BBA degrees do not offer MBAs or PhDs in Management. RK University has a proven track record of being in higher education, in a responsible manner, over many years. The BBA Program of RK University is more an a backward integration program of MBA-Program offered by School of Management of the University, which already is pioneering, innovative and more industry-oriented than others in the region, in many aspects.
FOCUS OF SOFT-SKILLS AND INDUSTRY KNOWLEDGE:
• The focus of our BBA program is to enrich students with industry practices, knowledge, and structures.
• Pedagogy is a combination of lectures, theory and relevant news articles and case studies.
• Study materials beyond text-books from various sources like the Wall Street Journal, the Financial Times, the New York Times, Reports of Financial Analysts and Research Organizations, Indian news media and research organizations, etc.
• Classes are participative in nature with focus on Continuous Internal Evaluation (where 50% of evaluation is primarily non-exam based).
• Strong emphasis on Soft-Skills. Over the three years, RKU-BBA strives to improve three important parameters of students: Presentation, Communication and Potential (PCPs) of each of the student, as these three qualities play a vital role in careers of corporate professionals.
5 YEAR INTEGRATED BBA-MBA:
RKU offers “Five Year Integrated BBA-MBA” with an award of Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration (BBA) in the end of three years, and an award of a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) at the end of five years.
In the end of three years, students would have an option to discontinue. Students who exercise this option would be awarded with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration (BBA).
Students in this innovative integrated program do not need to worry about MBA admission after their bachelor’s degree.
ICT ENABLED EDUCATION:
Course Designed with Modern Technology and Content Delivery
Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) have affected Education sector immensely, more so in areas of higher education. As an early adopter to this trend, RK University has adopted tech-oriented class-rooms and content delivery for its BBA/BCA students. A large part of the class-notes would be delivered online before the commencement of the class (through the wi-fi network of the campus). Thereby, students would be able to study necessary preparatory notes before the class, and the class-time can be used more productively for participatory discussions/clarification of doubts. Students can also download class-presentations of respective courses from the central server of RK University.
This would help our students in managing the corporate world demand of always having the right information at the tip of their fingers. Information leads to knowledge, and the ability to manage information overload is a tremendous challenge for all corporate managers today.
International study Tour:
RKU has collaborations with various universities across the world. Our BBA students have a unique opportunity to participate in an International Study Tour. This tour may include visits to US, UK, Singapore or other location as decided by the University.
